Senior Pastor : Marc Minter

Marc and his wife, Cassie (married 6/11/2005), along with their sons, Micah (11/21/06) and Malachi (12/8/15), are Texas natives. Marc and his family lived in Corinth (just north of Dallas) for several years before moving to Diana in August 2014.

Marc completed a Master of Ministry through Baptist Bible Seminary in 2014, and he is working toward a Master of Divinity through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Marc also completed a pastoral internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, under the leadership of Mark Dever in 2019.

Marc began vocational ministry with an evangelistic group known as Team Impact, and for 10 years he traveled across the US and around the world proclaiming the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  While Marc does enjoy the opportunities that such a platform offers, he has a passionate love for the local church. That love for gospel-centered community has compelled him to join and lead FBC Diana, for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Marc is a pastor driven by a love for the gospel of Christ. God’s glory is supreme; and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s word changes hearts and lives. Marc’s pastoral ministry is marked by expositional preaching, genuine love for God and others, and prayerful trust in the providential God who saves.

Marc and Micah are both students of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Marc enjoys both weight-training and learning. Cassie has been homeschooling their boys in the classical form of education from the beginning, and the dining table often plays the role of studying desk.

Administrative Assistant : Kathy Ford

Kathy grew up in Diana, and she has been a member of First Baptist Church for many years. For almost 20 years, she has been the Administrator of the church office, and she considers it a privilege to be able to serve the membership and guests of this local church. Kathy has a genuine love for others, which is born out of the grace she has experienced through Jesus Christ.

Kathy trusted Jesus as her Savior and Lord at 12 years of age. She believes in the trustworthiness of the Bible, and understands Jesus’s claim of exclusivity in John 14:6. Kathy is a living example of gospel-centered service in and through FBC Diana.

Kathy and her husband, Claude, have been married for 28 years. They are the parents of three grown children (Chad, Keelan and Kaylee), and they have two daughters-in-law (Caroline and Brittnee) and one son-in-law (Dakota). Claude and Kathy are also grandparents to Tristen. Family and friends are a big part of their lives, and they love going fishing and to the beach.

One of Kathy’s favorite Bible verses is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
