STAND ALONE MESSAGE ON A BAPTISM SUNDAY | BAPTISM | CHRIST’S COVENANT PEOPLE
Baptism is a topic about which many Christians have disagreed over the centuries. However, the overarching agreement for all orthodox Christians has always centered upon the idea that baptism does serve as the public designation that one is among Christ’s covenant people in the world. In this message, we shall consider the meaning of baptism in the life of the Christian. May God help us to celebrate this marvelous sign and the divine covenant to which it points."Stand Alone Message on a Baptism Sunday _ Baptism _ Christ’s Covenant People".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | DISCIPLES ABIDE AND REJOICE IN CHRIST
The Christian life is a paradoxical combination of simultaneous striving and resting. Anyone who has ever set out to live in light of Christ’s commands can testify to this enigmatic and exhausting and enlivening experience. While the Bible never explains the mechanics of this relationship, the Bible commonly implores sinners everywhere to rest in the joy-filled promises of God in Christ and to strive to abide in this marvelous Savior. In this message, we shall consider the command, the warning, and the promise of Christ in John 15:1-11."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | DISCIPLES ABIDE AND REJOICE IN CHRIST ".

    STAND ALONE MESSAGE |DISCERNING TRUTH
God’s word is profitable for teaching for correction and for training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17). We may believe all kinds of things, but only those things that align with God’s word (or at least do not contradict it) are true. One of the great benefits of having God’s words preserved for us in written form is that we have a solid and unchanging authority upon which to rest our faith/belief. In this message, we shall consider the need and benefits of discerning truth by measuring our beliefs against God’s word."STAND ALONE MESSAGE | DISCERNING TRUTH".

STAND ALONE |TOGETHER FOR THE GOSPEL
Every New Testament Church is called by God to live commendably together for the gospel of Christ. This is, in fact, the central task of the local church. Living a life worthy of the gospel is not some form of works-based righteousness. Rather, it is the idea that who we truly are and what we really believe is not unrelated to what we actually do. Local churches are intended by God as outposts of His kingdom on earth, where His doctrines are made known and visible among the congregation. In this message, we shall consider what it means to live in a manner worthy of the gospel."STAND ALONE | TOGETHER FOR THE GOSPEL".

Team Impact | The Gospel & Its Consequences
According to Scripture, there is nothing more critical for humans to comprehend, nothing more invigorating for sinners to believe, and nothing more compelling for Christians to study. The Gospel is the saving message of Jesus Christ, and it is the eternal bond of all Christ-followers. It is also the captivating reason we gather as a church family each Sunday morning. But, I wonder how many Christians would be able to briefly, accurately, and passionately articulate the Gospel. Christians ought to have more than an introductory knowledge of the Gospel. Christians ought to recognize the difference between the “Jesus action figure” and the real thing. In this message we will take a close look at the Gospel message and some of its significant consequences.

    Wisdom Begins With Respect
The average person is unlikely to say that they do not want to be wise, but the average person is also unlikely to do anything in pursuit of real wisdom. This contradiction provides the very evidence of lacking wisdom among many people today. There are many intelligent and many experienced people around us, but we are often amazed when we encounter someone with wisdom. What is wisdom? Do some people just have it, while others don’t? How can we improve our own level of wisdom? And, where does the Gospel fit into all of this? These are the questions we seek to answer in this message from the opening verses of Proverbs.
