JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | BEING CHRISTIAN IN THIS WORLD
What do you want in this world? Do you hope for a quiet life of moderate success? Do you eagerly strive for the brass ring, longing to achieve more than most? Do you desire stability, safety, longevity, or something else? What has God promised to Christians in this world? The testimony of the Bible and the history of Christianity shows that this world is not a friend but an enemy to Christ and His followers. In this message, we shall consider Christ’s unsavory promise in John 15:18-16:4 regarding the hate-filled world and Christ’s call for Christians to faithfully bear witness to Christ amidst the hostility."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | BEING CHRISTIAN IN THIS WORLD ".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | BLESSINGS & MARKS OF THE TRUE CHRISTIAN
We know that God’s gracious love extends to the whole world (Jn. 3:16; Matt. 5:43-48). This fact is a great comfort and a warm encouragement to those who may feel unlovable. However, this doctrine of God’s universal love is sometimes presumed to be scarcely different from God’s distinct and Fatherly love for His children (1 Jn. 3:1, 4:9–10). It is a mistake to think that God’s love for each person is exactly the same. In this message, we shall consider the promises Jesus made to His disciples in John 14 and the special way in which Jesus distinguished His disciples from the world."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | BLESSINGS & MARKS OF THE TRUE CHRISTIAN".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | THE ONLY SAVIOR
In the gospel, we may learn that God Himself has come to earth in order to rescue guilty sinners from their helpless estate. In Christ, God offers sinners a singular pathway by which they may enter into life itself. The claim is profound, the offer is gracious, and the promise is a great comfort to any who will acknowledge their own thorough weakness. In this message, we shall consider Jesus’ exclusive claim and gracious plea in John 14."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | THE ONLY SAVIOR".

STAND ALONE |TOGETHER FOR THE GOSPEL
Every New Testament Church is called by God to live commendably together for the gospel of Christ. This is, in fact, the central task of the local church. Living a life worthy of the gospel is not some form of works-based righteousness. Rather, it is the idea that who we truly are and what we really believe is not unrelated to what we actually do. Local churches are intended by God as outposts of His kingdom on earth, where His doctrines are made known and visible among the congregation. In this message, we shall consider what it means to live in a manner worthy of the gospel."STAND ALONE | TOGETHER FOR THE GOSPEL".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE |LOVE ONE ANOTHER
God is love. Such a statement is profoundly true, and it has a marked effect on Christians. It is not unusual for people to want or to express love, but it is unusual for people in this world to experience the kind of love God defines. Like many of God’s attributes, we see the fullest expression of God’s love in Christ. Furthermore, Christ calls and empowers His disciples (i.e. Christians) to love like Jesus loves. In this message, we shall consider Jesus’ command to ‘love one another’ in the context of the local church family."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | LOVE ONE ANOTHER".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE |LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS
In Jesus’ final hours, we see Him troubled by the darkness surrounding Him. One of His closest friends betrayed Him unto death, and the devil himself takes on a personal assaulting role. Jesus seems utterly alone and victimized as the night intensifies. However, Jesus is not merely a passive sufferer. No, right in the midst of this deepest darkness, Christ makes Himself known as the God of light. In this message, we shall consider God’s sovereign rule over darkness and light, and we shall marvel at the God who does all these things."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS".

    JOHN-THAT-YOU-MAY-BELIEVE | CHRIST’S INSUFFERABLE EXAMPLE
In the final days of Jesus’ earthly ministry, He seems to have concentrated His time and attention upon His closest disciples. In John’s Gospel, we read about an evening meal during which Jesus took on an awkward task. Jesus – the Son of God, the Holy One of Israel, the Messiah of old – dressed Himself as a lowly servant and did a humiliating chore. In washing the feet of His disciples, He was illustrating His posture in all-of-life and calling His disciples to follow His example. In this message, we shall consider the summons Christ gives to His followers and the implications for Christian living.JOHN-THAT-YOU-MAY-BELIEVE | CHRIST’S INSUFFERABLE EXAMPLE

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE |HEAR & OBEY CHRIST’S WORDS
The words of Jesus Christ are indeed the promises and precepts of eternal life. The one who hears and obeys Jesus has no judge, but rather enjoys freedom from condemnation altogether. But the one who does not receive Christ’s words... who does not hear and obey Christ’s words... that one will be judged and condemned by those same words on the last day. In this message, we shall consider the pleading and warning words of Christ at the close of His public ministry in the Gospel of John."JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | HEAR & OBEY CHRIST’S WORDS".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE |OH LORD, HELP US SEE & BELIEVE
God has revealed Himself profoundly and compellingly in His word, and this is sometimes overwhelming to us. This is as we should expect. Wouldn’t it be surprising to learn about an infinite, omnipotent, and holy God that never surprised or confounded us? God, by definition, will regularly surprise and confound those who seek to know Him better. In this message, we learn God’s explanation for the reason we encounter unbelief in relation to Christ and the Gospel. With God’s help, we will delve into the mysteries of God’s gracious grace. "JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | OH LORD, HELP US SEE & BELIEVE".

JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE |SUBJECTS OF A SUFFERING KING
There are glorious promises in the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The King of glory offers eternal life, present companionship with Himself, and honor from God the Father. But there is also a disturbing paradox among these pleasant words in Scripture. Christ earned these blessings for His followers at the troubling hour of His crucifixion. Christ beckon His disciples to suffering as they follow Him. Christ’s servants become partakers of everlasting life by hating and losing life in this world. In this message, we shall consider this paradox in the Gospel message to those would be subjects of a suffering king. "JOHN: THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE | SUBJECTS OF A SUFFERING KING".
